Two of my greatest passions…photography and my Harley. I love when they come together. Passion is what drives us. Keeps us going. Sometimes following what drives you makes no sense to anyone on the outside looking in, but don’t let that stop you. That drive that comes from within. That desire to do something that just won’t quit. That voice that won’t go away, and even if it does momentarily, you start missing it. That is you. That’s the part of you that hasn’t been listening to everyone telling what you should be doing. The part of you that isn’t worried about paying bills, running errands or committing to things that you really don’t want to do. But we all have to do the adulting crap that none of us want to do, right? But what if you start to listen to that part of you. The part that knows…

The trip of 2017 wasn’t quite the same as the Montana trip but being on the road is always good. The plan was…no plan. No hotel reservations, no predetermined route. Just head north, preferably along the coast. There were a couple of things that I was looking forward to. Crossing the Golden Gate bridge, the Redwoods and going all the way to Oregon. First stop of the day was Solvang for lunch. This is officially the best place to get a Monte Cristo. If you are ever in Solvang, give it a try. We made it to the coast that day and ended up in Morro Bay. Great little hotel. Seaside Inn. You can get pizza delivered here I rode the Golden Gate Bridge! Well, crawled the Golden Gate Bridge. Typical California traffic ruins all great experiences. Mystery of the Trees.  There was this great trail that started behind the hotel and…

Who doesn’t love Montana? And our first thought was, bike trip! This started out with us attending a wedding in Montana. Who doesn’t love Montana? And our first thought was, bike trip! We were packed, excited and ready to go. The first leg of our trip would take us just outside of Salt Lake City. We figured we would be pulling in about 7:00 pm. Well after a day of heavy rain coming out of Baker, traffic in Las Vegas and our stops being way longer than we planned, we pulled into our first hotel at 10:00 pm. Yep, that was a 19 hour day.   Late morning stop, still fresh and ready to ride one. Only…

A Harley is more than just a motorcycle. It is a living, growing, piece of art. Within its lines, chrome and horsepower lies the soul of its owner. Ask a Harley owner what they like most about their bike and you will be taken to a place many don’t see. You will witness the connection between flesh and steel that has transpired through an appreciation of power, beauty and freedom.
